Lifecycle Collaboration

The need for infrastructure to enable concurrent engineering and collaboration based on computer distribution and ICT becomes more crucial for making models of the design and management of the really effective life cycle. This project focuses on horizontal collaboration across the different processes of the product life cycle, passing through the different divisional logic. In particular, we want to operate on the given geometric data (CAD data, DMU) in order to extend the usability of activities in the production, sale and service tailoring the geometry data to the specific context through a transformation/reduction of the information already present.

TARGET/EXPECTED RESULT

Realization of a CAD automation ​​(or a set of automations) for the creation of 3D design of complex products.

Realisation of CAD automations enabling the complete 3D design of complex products  (in the specific case of the rotor shaft of a steam turbine). Optimizing of the codes for products configurators (pumps and valves).

Realisation of CAD automations that allow the  complete 3D assembly of complexes products (in the specific case rotor steam turbin).
